The International Business Communication Standards (IBCS) provide principles for the standardized notation and compelling composition of clear reports, presentations, and dashboards. The IBCS proposals for a consistent notation have been incorporated into the international standard ISO 24896 „Notation for business reporting”. The additional application of IBCS principles for composition enables reporting to convey a compelling narrative and prompt action.
The IBCS principles encompass seven areas represented by the acronym „SUCCESS”.
